Bromley 450 uses a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, free from cobalt and with minimal nickel content (~0.25%). This reduces reliance on some critical raw materials linked to social and environmental challenges. Battery still contains lithium and other critical minerals. Compared to conventional Lithium-Ion (Li-ion) batteries, LFP offers a longer cycle life and enhanced safety, with a significantly lower risk of thermal runaway. The trade-off is that LFP technology is generally heavier and has lower energy density, which is why Li-ion remains common in devices where weight and compactness are key. For applications where durability and sustainability matter most, LFP is a strong choice. Please recycle old batteries and electronic products responsibly.
