By participating in Urban Republic & Switch E-Waste Recycling Program ("the Program"), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

The Program is open to all individuals, businesses, and organizations in Malaysia.

1. The Program accepts the following categories of electronic waste (“E-Waste”), and the vouchers that will be awarded to individuals who recycle their E-Waste with us:
RM30: 1x Laptop, 1x Tablet, 1x Smartphones
RM20: 1x Powerbanks, 1x Camera
RM10: 2x Cables/ wirings, 1x small gadgets (speakers, keyboards, alarm clock, kettle, mouse)

2. Items containing hazardous materials beyond standard electronics (e.g., industrial batteries, medical devices, or radioactive components) are not accepted.

1 Customers will received vouchers upon recycling their e-waste at Urban Republic Stores: RM10 / RM20 / RM30

2 A maximum of 2 vouchers is allowed in a single transaction, with max value stackable up to RM30, no min.spend.

3 Voucher expiry date: 3 months after issued date.

1. E-Waste can be dropped off at all Urban Republic outlets located in Klang Valley, Johor and Penang only.

2. Items dropped off become the property of Urban Republic & Switch and will not be returned.

1. Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that all personal data is permanently removed from devices before recycling.

2. Urban Republic & Switch is not liable for any data breaches or loss resulting from devices not properly wiped by the participant.

1. All collected E-Waste will be processed by certified recyclers in accordance with local environmental regulations and industry best practices, our E-Waste recycling partner is Tech Waste Recycling Malaysia.

2. Reusable components may be refurbished, resold, or donated. Non-reusable items will be dismantled and recycled responsibly.

1. Urban Republic & Switch is not responsible for damage, loss, or theft of items during transit or at collection points.

2. By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless of Urban Republic & Switch, its affiliates, and partners from any claims or liabilities arising out of your participation in the Program.

1. Urban Republic & Switch reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

2. Updated terms will be posted on this page, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
