The RHB PayLater service enables Instalment Payment Plan (IPP) via RHB Debit Card when used to make purchases based on instalment tenure chosen within your eligible limit.

You are entitled to 0% IPP rate when IPP transaction is made at Urban Republic outlets. To qualify, the IPP transactions must meet the following minimum transaction amounts based on the selected plan.

Minimum Transaction Amount

• 3 months: RM10
• 6 months: RM150

Missed payments may result in a Finance Charge and a Late Payment Charge. In the event you miss up to three (3) monthly instalment payments for a IPP purchase, your RHB PayLater account will be suspended, and you will be unable to use it for the subsequent IPP transaction(s) until all the missed payments are fully settled.

Yes, early settlement is allowed without any early settlement fee.

Finance Charges

• 1.25% per month (effective rate of 15% per annum) on the outstanding amount, calculated on daily rest.
• If all or any of the Finance Charges remains unpaid after the Repayment Due Date, the Finance Charges will be imposed on any outstanding finance charges and other fees (excluding late payment charge) that were carried forward from previous statement that is unpaid after the Repayment Due Date.

Late Payment Charges
If the Customer fails to pay the full monthly instalment repayment amount by the repayment due date, 1% of total outstanding amount due in arrears will be charged after the repayment due date.

Early Settlement Fee

• There will be no penalty fee for early settlement.

Excess Limit Fee

• There will be no excess limit fee as the transaction will not be able to go through.

Variation of Fee

• The fees or charges above may be varied by RHB Bank by giving notice to the Customer of at least twenty-one (21) calendar days in advance before the effective date of such variation.
• Such variation will take effect from the date specified by RHB Bank in the notice to the Customer.

You can view all RHB PayLater transactions and payment schedules through your e-Statement.

Yes, you can have multiple IPP transactions active at the same time, subject to your credit limit and eligibility.

Timely payments on RHB PayLater accounts typically have no negative impact. However, missed or late payments could affect your credit score, as the facility is reported in your CCRIS report.

Yes, Auto Standing Instruction (ASI) will be generated three (3) calendar days before payment due date to your RHB Current / Savings account for payment deduction(s). If your RHB Debit Card is linked to more than one RHB Current / Savings account, ASI will deduct payment from the primary default account.
