The SURE Extended Warranty does not apply to:
1. Non-Apple Hardware or Software
• Any non-Apple branded hardware products or software, even if packaged or sold with Apple hardware.
• Software distributed by Apple (including system software) is excluded.
2. Consumable Parts
Consumables, such as batteries, are not covered unless the failure is due to defects in materials or workmanship.
3. Cosmetic Damage
Scratches, dents, or broken plastic on ports unless caused by defects in materials or workmanship.
4. Third-Party Components
Damage caused by the use of third-party components or products that do not meet Apple’s specifications (Apple specifications are available at www.apple.com or in-store).
5. External Causes
Damage resulting from accidents, abuse, misuse, fire, liquid contact, earthquakes, or other external causes.
6. Non-Compliance with Apple’s Guidelines
Damage caused by operating the Apple Product outside Apple’s published guidelines.
7. Unauthorised Service
Damage from service or modifications performed by anyone who is not an Apple representative or an Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP).
8. Unauthorised Modifications
Any Apple Product altered to change its functionality or capability without written permission from Apple.
9. Normal Wear and Tear
Damage due to normal wear and tear or the aging process of the Apple Product.
10. Tampered Serial Numbers
Products with serial numbers removed or defaced.
11. Stolen Products
Products reported as stolen or with security measures preventing access (e.g., passcode-locked devices). Claimants must provide proof of purchase to verify ownership.
12. Warranty Claim Submission
